Everyone has his or her own style of browsing the Internet. Personally, when I start looking for a given piece of information or anytime that I do anything online I always seem to end up with multiple browser windows open and multiple tabs open within each of those browsers.
I tend to do this both when researching a given item and when checking in on my favorite blogs. However, sometimes I wonder if this is the most efficient way to browse.
Recently, I was on a trend where I had multiple instances of my browser open and multiple tabs within each of them and they were almost like permanent fixtures on my desktop. After a period of a couple of days I noticed that my computer was running much slower than it had in the past and closed all of the browsers and my computer’s performance returned to normal.
Now, I only have about three browser windows that I keep open all of the time and only one of them has multiple tabs open. This leads me to inquire of my readers; do you use multiple tabs and browser windows? Maybe you still use a browser that does not offer tabbed browsing? What is your browsing style?

Almost always I have my Opera and Firefox open at the same time with a lot of tabs. The only challenge is not to get lost with so many of them open.
I agree with the getting lost part. There are often times when I can’t remember which window a particular tab is in.
I usually have my Firefox open with lots of tabs! The more sites I can see at one click the better!
Sounds like we have a bit in common. I like to have them easily available to switch between and cross-reference to each other.
