					<description>Nick, you've made a few good points about the possible differences between the two sites and their subscribers.

Another way to look at it is that John's readers are more willing to add a 2nd and possibly a 3rd way to get the same feed and boost John's numbers.  My impression of the two sites is that John's readers include more people new to blogging that might be willing to do anything he asks while Shoe's readers might lean more towards experienced bloggers interested in his SEO knowledge.
