Another week and time for another weekly post to give back to the blogosphere…in the form of links!
After suffering from a lack of internet access for about two weeks, Jason has started to get back into the rhythm of posting on a regular basis with a post about spam comments and another about the importance of coffee. Currently this blog sits at just over 9,000 spam comments having been caught by Aksimet and I personally don’t drink coffee.
Derek got lucky at the blackjack tables and won in Vegas this past week, he also shared some samples of his photographic abilities and demonstrated some of what his Christmas present is capable of. I’d like to get a camera like that someday, but I wonder how much I’d use it. I have a pretty nice SLR now (35mm) that I rarely use and am much more likely to grab my Kodak EasyShare…if I lose, break, or otherwise need to replace it I am out at lot less money than the cost of my SLR.
Michael Kwan is working to convince the governments of Canada and the United States that he is not a terrorist, well, kinda. He is working on getting accepted into the NEXUS program. If you have no idea what this program is (I didn’t) read his NEXUS FAQ to learn a little bit about it. It sounds like an interesting concept but not something that I see myself needing to be concerned with anytime soon. Heck, I don’t even have a passport.
The most amusing post I saw this week I have saved for last. Leo posted a very interesting Hump Day Video (no pun intended) on Wednesday. I got a good chuckle out of it and, like Leo, can think of many times where I am glad that I was not wearing a pair of those glasses!
