I really need to start keeping track of what I read and where I read it. I read quite a few good posts this week on blogs that I don’t normally read, but I don’t remember where I found some of them. If I would keep track, when it comes time to write this post it would be pretty much already written. Well, here are some of the interesting articles I found this week:
My favorite post this week was probably the one from Derek that gave us the information on how to retrieve your top commentators and their comment count by using an SQL query. I am really glad he posted this, not only because I wanted to know how to do it, but because it reminded me of some of the powers we have that we may not always think to use.
Jason wrote a very thought provoking post asking readers if they censor their blogs.
Michelle decided to give away a book that sounds like it might be a pretty interesting read.
Over at the cow, they had to take a stand against people who try to tell them what should and should not be included on the site.
As I said, I am going to have to start keeping track of the great articles I read because I know that there were many others that deserve just as much if not more recognition that I just cannot seem to remember right now.

Thanks for the mention, Nick.
There have been lots of great posts all over the blogosphere in the last few weeks and it can be pretty hard to catch them all. It’s a shame that Digg or Reddit didn’t have a section devoted just to great blog posts
Thanks for the mention of my post Nick and I am glad to hear that it was useful to you!
When I come across posts that I want to link to in my speedlinking, I normally will star them in my RSS reader or email myself the url if it a site that I am not subscribed to at the time.
Yeah, I tend to use the email method when I come across things that I would like to post about or if I think of something and email is more accessible than a piece of paper to write the idea down. I just need to get myself to start using it for this purpose as well.
