In my keeping up on current events, I came across this article from Reuters that talks directly about blogging. Well, not in the sense that most of us talk, read, and think about it every day, but blogging nonetheless.
The focus of the article is about the lengths that people have to go to in order to blog from Cuba. Having internet access and the ability to blog is something that I (and probably many other bloggers) almost take for granted.
I wonder how many of us would continue to blog and update our sites if we had to face what these people do. While I checked out the sites mentioned in the article, they were not in English so I was unable to thoroughly enjoy them, although the one is mostly pictures and has very little text. I definitely admire these authors for the risks they take to keep their sites going.
The blogs listed in the article are:
Generación Y
mi isla al mediodia
Gente, Hechos y Cosas de Cuba
Muñequitos Rusos
