Bryan over at One Man’s Goal is very ambitious. He started with no experience in web design, internet marketing, or anything that would be relevant to starting a blog. He has the goal to be able to make full time income from blogging in one year.

He is right on target that we should all have goals. In that spirit, I am setting some goals for this site. I haven’t exactly figured out exactly what they will all be yet, but I will have an update when I get that figured out.

In the mean time, I will definitely see if I can be accepted to Bryan’s “Blogger Challenge” that will start tomorrow and end on August 31. The challenge is a contest to see who can make the top percentage increase to their Technorati Favorites, Technorati Authority, and Alexa Ranking.

He has decided to base the improvements on percentage increases rather than pure numbers to help level the playing field. Also, it appears that he has three different categories based on the ranking of the blog at the beginning of the contest.

I’m not sure how to find the Technorati Favorites ranking or what it is for sure, but I think that means how many people have added you to their Technorati Favorites. As of right now, my rankings on the other two categories are as follows:
