lol ~ that's actually a pretty good idea, although it may be a bit too crazy to get any serious consideration by those who would have the power/ability to put something like this into action.

I'm not surprised. I have a ham radio buddy that lives in Australia (Melbourne I believe) that makes me jealous by reporting the weather to me all winter long!

Well, I'm certainly jealous. It seems that any snowfall that occurs in this part of Japan melts the same day.

Hmm ... I just had a crazy idea.

Millions of people are worried because the Arctic doesn't have as much snow anymore. On top of this, there are millions of people out of work all over the Northern Hemisphere. Wouldn't it make sense to employ these people as "Snow Transportation Technicians" and have them bring all the excess snow from around the world to Santa's pristine territory? Heck, maybe governments can buy domestically-constructed snow-removal vehicles to do the heavy work, too! That should give Ford, Chrysler, GM, Volvo, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, and just about every other car manufacturer that's crying for federal assistance more than enough work :)

Not only would this get the snow out of the cities while simultaneously employing every able-bodied person that wanted to earn a little cash, but it would combat "Global Warming" by reflecting a good portion of the Sun's rays back into space.

Sounds like a Win x1000 scenario!

*Disclaimer: It's crazy ideas like this that prevent me from becoming anything but a blogger in the world of politics*

A blue sky over the snow always makes it look great!

That's certainly very different weather than we're having at the moment in Western Australia...yesterday we hit 37 degrees Celsius.
