By now it is painfully obvious that I have been neglecting my blog (and you, my readers) lately. First of all, I want to apologize to you all for not providing any new content for you to read. Luckily, a quick check of Analytics shows that most of you are loyal enough to keep checking back even after this hiatus.
Part of this absence of posts is due to the fact that a few days ago I decided that I had to write this post but really didn’t want to. For that reason, I have procrastinated on it a bit which has (at least in my mind) made matters worse. I simply came to the conclusion that “something’s gotta give” and the most logical thing to restrict is this site.
Before you get the wrong idea, I am NOT shutting this thing down or selling it and I don’t foresee myself doing that anytime soon. I have just decided that I need to cut back on it a little bit. The twice-per-day posting that I was attempting to maintain has become too much when combined with work and school. I will still try to post on a regular basis, but I am going to be quite a bit more inconsistent and am not going to attempt a twice-per-day average. That doesn’t mean, however, that there won’t be two posts on the same day, I just don’t think that it will be a regular occurrence and predict that there will be a fair number of days that do not bring any new posts.
Also related to my not posting, my MyBlogLog avatar has not been as commonly seen throughout the blogosphere and I haven’t been leaving comments as regularly as I previously had. I do assure you all, however, that I have been reading each and every post. Over the last week or so, I have relied heavily upon my feed reader and have religiously read every post from those sites to which I am subscribed.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to check my site and leave comments when there was no sign of me throughout the blogosphere. I hope my lack of posting didn’t let any of you down too terribly.

Yep, been there - done that.
I think it’s just growing pains. Everything has to settle out and find its own level.
No big deal, just part of the process
Thanks for the encouragement. I agree that everything has to find it’s own level. Apparently the level of this blog is not at twice a day.
Ha Ha Ha!!
Well, when you consider most bloggers have trouble with once a day, twice a day is a tough goal.
I admire you for trying. The only way to really know if an idea will work is to try it. If you find it doesn’t work as well in life as it did on paper, so what? Now you know. Move on to the next one
[…] 3. Nick is the one true blog among this group, although he recently came to the realization that something’s gotta give and that means he is cutting back on the frequency of blog posts. With my family, work, and three blogs to maintain I can certainly appreciate this quandary. Hang in there Nick and post when you can! […]
