Upon browsing to my site and also my Analytics statistics I have discovered that it is again time to celebrate as I have met a couple more goals. One of which, observant visitors may have already noticed. I have surpassed my previous Technorati Authority goal of 175! In fact, I flew past it and now have an astonishing 186!
In the spirit of continuing to push, grow, and improve, I am setting the new goal at 200. I am also getting almost dangerously close to my Technorati ranking goal. I currently am at 31,704 and my goal is to get below that 25,000 mark.
To give recognition to another goal that I had that I never made public, this site has now been viewed from all 50 states and Washington D.C.! By checking in on my Analytics statistics I have been able to keep an eye out for this achievement and I have finally gotten someone in Maryland to view this site.
I also have discovered that it is again time to update the list of Blogs I Read as my reading habits have changed since the list was last updated. I am removing One Man’s Goal from the list because I have not been to that site since it was sold. New additions to the list are Jason’s Random Thoughts and Boston Brat dot Net. These are two sites that I am currently a regular reader of and would not hesitate to recommend.

Thanks for the link, Nick. Good luck on your Technorati goals. For the moment, my site is falling rather quick, which means there’s one more spot in the top 10K to be snapped up.
Just remember that Technorati’s rank is based on the number of unique sites that link to you in six months. If you can’t keep the numbers up (like I couldn’t), then you’ll start to see a drop in a few months time. Keep pushing, though
Yeah, I hope that this site will continue to grow and receive new visitors and links. I’m sorry to hear of your recent drop in Technorati standings but keep doin’ what you do and things will turn around, your posts are always so complete and thoughtful!
Nick - Sorry to hear that you haven’t been back since One Man’s Goal was sold. I just re-purchased it from Austin if you are interested in stopping in from time to time. Hopefully I’ll see you around, commenting and such.
Glad to see your blog is doing so well. The new layout and things look much better. Keep up the good work buddy, hopefully it’s just the beginning for you.
