OK, I’ll give it a try. BlogRush is a new way to help drive traffic to your site. The premise behind the program is that for every headline you show on your site, you get credited so that your post title will show in the widget on someone else’s site. This doesn’t seem like too bad of a deal and I’ll try it for a couple of weeks or so and see how the credits build up and if I get any traffic out of the deal.

It sounds a lot like another program that a blog I enjoy reading mentioned in a post titled “Free Advertising That Did Not Work” so I was a bit leery about trying BlogRush. However, I’ve seen in mentioned a few other places around the blogosphere and the widget doesn’t look too terribly out of place on my blog so I’ll give it a try.

I do wish I could make the widget just a little bit narrower so that it would fit in the middle column rather than taking up space in the right sidebar. One nice thing about BlogRush is that when someone signs up underneath you, you get credit for their credits as well. This means that for every 100 credits they get, you also get 100 credits. This also goes for their referrals. After that, there is a ratio system and the referral credits go out to ten levels! This is a very deep referral ladder.

At any rate, there’s not much to be lost by trying it out for a couple weeks.
