Well, I’m not sure if it was a good idea or not, but after having 250 posts and never missing a day, I took 4 days off from my blog. During Saturday and Sunday, I spent a grand total of about 20 minutes on the computer and I must say it was fairly enjoyable. I am back now and will try to get back to my two post per day schedule that you have come to expect.

I did notice, that sometime during my little break, I met my Alexa goal of 500,000 and so it is time to set a new goal. My new goal is to cut that in half and break into the top 250,000. Be sure to encourage everyone you know that uses the Alexa toolbar to visit my site.

Another item of business that I need to get caught up on is that the first supporter’s section sidebar auction has ended and did not go as well as I had hoped. Because of this, I can only conclude that people do not want free advertising on this site. I will be removing the ads from that space and replacing them with generic “your ad here” type graphics.

While I’m still not sure if taking these days away from the blog was a good idea, I think I will continue to take days off occasionally. Perhaps at the rate of 2 days for every 125 posts or 4 days for every 250 posts.
