I just discovered and implemented a new advertising venue. It looks to be beneficial to me for a couple of reasons.
First of all, it looks to be very beneficial because they are already affiliated with several places that people already know and are willing to do business with. Some of the sites in the WidgetBucks network include Target, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Ebay. There are several other partners with this site, but those are the ones that I think the most people would recognize.
Now, I know a certain someone that refuses to spend money at Best Buy, but other than that I think there is definitely potential for this program. Another thing about it is the fact that it is pay-per-click rather than per sale so your visitors don’t have to buy anything, just look at the products in order for you to profit.
The second reason that this will hopefully be beneficial for me is because, as far as I can tell, there has not been a whole lot of blogging about this program just yet so I may be able to pick up some referrals. My success with other referral programs has not been too impressive, but I think that is because most of my readers had joined the programs before reading my blog.
If you’re willing to try something new just to see how it goes or if you are looking for a new way to make some money from your blog or website, join WidgetBucks.

Thanks for the mention Nick, lol. I’ve been seeing posts about WidgetBucks all over the place, almost to the extent that BlogRush was hyped.
I just felt the reference was too good to pass up. Yeah, when I wrote the post I didn’t realize that it was as new as it is and that it would get as much attention as it is getting.
I still think I might fair better with this than the others because I think I was in the first part of the rush so hopefully can get at least a couple of referrals.
