Guest Posts
I have had two experiences with guest posts recently and like the way that both of them went. If you aren’t sure what I am talking about, I posted Damien’s guest post on this site and wrote my own guest post for Derek. Both of these experiences went quite well and I think I would like to do more of it. Having said that, if you would be interested in writing a guest post here at romandock dot com, contact me and let me know. Chances are quite good that I will like your idea and be willing to post your article. Also, if you are looking for a guest post for your site, let me know and I will try and churn out a post for you.
When contacting me to ask for a guest post, it would be much appreciated if you would notify me of any requirements you would have for the post as far as length, profanity, linking, or any other requirements you might have on your site. I know for most of us, there really aren’t any rules or limitations but for some people there might be and I might not know how you feel about different things. Also, if you have something specific you want the post to be about and want to supply a title or topic for the post, I would not be adverse to that.
Radio Posts
Recently, I have become increasingly aware that I do not post very much information about ham radio and have been trying to think of a way to change that. Well, I think I figured out a solution. Unless I get significant negative reaction (and even then I might do it) to this idea, I think I am going to try and start a regular feature where I go question-by-question through the Technician (that is the introductory level) license exam question bank. These questions are freely available and by the time I go through all of them, any of you who read these posts will be able to easily take and pass the test to get your ham radio license.
By doing this, I will be able to get back to one of the original focuses of this site as well as have some fresh content ideas on a regular basis. Also, it will be a great way to help spread ham radio to all of you which is one of the missions of this site. What do you think? Will you still read? Will you skip those posts? Please give me some feedback on this idea.
RSS Feed
If you haven’t signed up for my RSS Feed yet, it would be in your best interest to do so! If you are subscribed but don’t always read everything, you might want to start. Also, I am planning to have a promotion to encourage RSS Subscriptions in November so it wouldn’t hurt to get signed up and be ready to go when everything gets rolling!

I’m looking forward to it
Glad you liked the post!
I think that would of came in very handy when i was trying to study for the test. So i think thats a good idea for the Ham Radio portion of new blog ideas. I am already subscribed to your RSS feed so i got that covered and guest posting can always be good. It can help you if you are running low on content ideas and it can help someone out if they are running low on content ideas or if they are going out of town and etc.
It is great to see you moving forward with such momentum on your blog.
Are HAM radio conversations anything like podcasts? Maybe you could start recording them and publishing your own podcast/radio show!
Keep up the good work.
