					<description>I hope you're right about them not selling out. As far as the information shared with advertisers, I too wonder what they are going to have access to and how they are going to use it.

Although, if it becomes something like how cigarette manufacturers send coupons to people who smoke their brand it might not be such a bad deal for consumers.</description>

					<description>Judging from the management history at Facebook, the chances of the site becoming a networked advertising site are slim and none.  They're too smart to sell themselves out for a quick buck today when they can make a slow billion tomorrow.  I don't think we have anything to fear on that front.

That said, I wonder what information will be shared with advertisers in the coming months and years.  If I say that I like drinking Dr. Pepper, will I start getting emails from Pepsi telling me when they're going to have some promo in the area? :???:</description>
