I just slipped the laptop in that piece of luggage with my clothes so I didn't have to check anything. I haven't flown since I expanded the amount of stuff that I drag around and I am not sure what I would do if I were to fly now. Normally it's fine, as most airlines will allow you to take a laptop bag plus a camera bag as hand luggage. However, on a recent trip to Tasmania, I was only allowed a single bag totalling 4kg as hand luggage! When flying, which bag(s) do you take as hand luggage, and which ones do you check in?
