If you’ve ever wanted a way to make PDF files on your computer without having to pay for something to give you that functionality, PDFCreator may be just the utility you’re looking for. It appears to install as a printer and can create documents from any program that is able to print.

If you’re in the market for a free and useful FTP client, I would strongly suggest that you give FileZilla a try.

I have recently been introduced to a handy little program called Dia that can be used to make flowcharts and diagrams. This is a program that is sure to be useful in a variety of situations.

I have recently come across a couple of sites that have fairly good listings of open source programs that can be downloaded and used on Windows computers.

If you are looking for a program to use to edit and create graphics and photographs, I would recommend giving GIMP a try.

There are many advantages of using Firefox rather than Internet Explorer when browsing the internet.

To help decrease people’s apprehension in regards to switching from Windows to Linux, I am planning to feature some open source software that can be used on Windows.
