I agree that they are much more fluid. I mentioned above how they are more likely to gain members, I forgot to mention though, people are much more likely to leave a .clique (or blogging all together) than in the traditional clique.

I've also experienced the notion of blogging cliques, because as you said, the same people seem to always comment on the same blogs. This is partly because they have become "online friends", so to speak, but the blogging cliques are much more fluid in nature than their restrictive high school counterparts.</description>
