How much of a priority is your blog to you? How important is it for you to get something posted on it? I know that personally, getting things posted to my site is towards the top of my priority list.

From what I have observed from my travels though the blogosphere, I think that most of the people who have successful blogs treat their sites as more than just a hobby. In fact, in many cases, blogging could probably be considered an obsession.

One dictionary definition of obsession is “a persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling”. For many of us, there is a persistent preoccupation that is perhaps disturbing at times. As to whether or not it is unreasonable, that would be a matter of personal opinion.

However, as true as this may or may not be, there is another word that is similar but kinder that most of us would rather use: dedication. As bloggers we are dedicated to our sites and to our readers and most of us make it a priority at some level to get new content posted on a regular basis.
